Vibe Tuner

Part of the Speculative Projects Division of Hypersurface Studio.

Designed to fine-tune the vibes for any given moment. An LED halo illuminates a fluorite crystal, promoting chakra alignment and third eye opening. among other things. Chromatherapy is dialed in by the knobs that control brightness, color, and lighting modes.

The Vibe Tuner was created to explore the boundaries of craft in the modern age. The head is designed in CAD and 3d printed, the frame is a freeform design made of hand-bent and soldered brass rod, and the microcontroller is an Arduino Nano that has been vibe-coded with artificial intelligence. These seemingly disparate methods of making converge to achieve something together they could not do separately.
