In addition to commercial products, Hypersurface Studio is also dedicated to advancing the conversation of design through a regular practice of creating speculative objects and art pieces.

Hypersurface Studio is dedicated to the creation of objects that are graceful in function and in form. They are beautiful enough to be wanted and functional enough to be kept. Humanity is distinct from all other creatures in our ability to use tools, so we believe the objects we make reflect back to us our values as a species. We take this responsibility seriously.

 

The studio is led by Michael Wong, who holds degrees in Industrial Design and Mechanical Engineering. He has a deep passion for design and every aspect of the process that brings these ideas to life.
